WHO ARE WE?

Our group is formed by Merly Jimenez, Diana Suta and Luz Herrera. We are secretaries at the Sabana University. We are currently conducting the first level of English, our teacher name's Lyubava Sichko is a great teacher and an excellent person we want a lot. The three share some interest and hobies, including music all. We are also pleased at the weekend to go out with our family or our friends to dance, go to movies and walk.

HOUSE

Luz Miryam says:

There are several types of housing. I want to talk about the types of housing in Colombia. The types of housing in Colombia vary depending on the climate zone. For example in the Colombian Caribbean coast the homes have very high ceilings in order to have aeration, this happens also in hot areas such as the eastern plains.
In the cold zone the houses are characterized by using materials such as bricks that give a little more than shelter to the houses and the roofs do not exceed the two meters high.
In the big cities like Bogotá and Medellín the apartments abound. These vary in size and quality finishes. They can be luxurious or simple. In recent years have been imposed ways of living according to the need, so for example there are housing solutions that fit the budgets.

The most important for me is to live in a comfortable place the rest is embellishment.

Merly Jiménez says:
In the city and in the suburb, of style the life are different. Your meet big house, little house, appartment, chalet and farm.
I like big house, where I can to be free. A house with things curiosity, furniture, modern equipment. Today in day, the space of home are very confortables and commodious.

In the little space of home, your find there is a bathroom, a bedroom, a little kitchen and sometimes there is a living room.
In the medium space of home, as my house, your find of two or three floors, there are two bathrooms, there are three bedrooms, there is a ktchen, there is a garage, there is a dinning room, there is a living room, there is a hall and a court.
In the big space of home, has got four bathrooms, there are six bedrooms, there are threee living rooms, there are two garages, two dining room, three halls, two garden, two courts and there is a library room.

To live in Bogotá is very good and funny.

Diana Suta says:
The life styles in the chia city, are very different. For example, you will find chalets, farms, old houses and little appartment.
My house style is type chalet, a big house with a lot of space, with two big gardens for my childrens to play, with big bedrooms, bathrooms and two living rooms for visit attention and friends.

FOOD

Luz Miryam says:

For me that I am super paisa I love all kinds of food but I must say that my favorite is the bandeja paisa that has beans, rice, banana, chicharrón. meat, egg, sausage, avocado and arepa, for those who do not have provado they recommend. I also like the ajiaco Bogotano, pizza and lasagña, the dessert I like all but the best is the milkywey and brawnies I can prepare for.



Merly Jiménez says:
Colombia has many typical tastes, is a country with much natural wealth, their fields produce foods that help to a good diet. In Medellin is delicious the beans, in Bogota to find the soups exquisite, in the coasts are fish very good, in Villavicencio are the meats roast, in Boyaca to find milk, eggs, chicken and many vegetables. All dishes are served with rice, potatoes, cassava.Uhmmm, very good the food colombian.

Diana Suta says:
Colombia is a country with much traditional dishes. In the pacific and atlantic zone abounds of fish and of cassava. In the andine zone is rice, potato, milk, eggs and others. The fruits is very varied, find apples, oranges, bananas, pineapples, strawberry, watermelon, grapes, kiwi, is very delicious and nutritive.

Music

Luz Miryam says:
My favorite music is the merengue, salsa, romantic, pop ballads and Latin American, my favorite singers are Alberto Squares, Elthon Jhon and Celine Dion. The music Relagen me and it makes my life more joyful, for this day also listen to music sometimes I meet with my friends to perform karaoke contests.

Merly Jiménez says:
My job is a little stressful, for that I like listening music. I listen different music, I like salsa music, rock music, pop music, merengue music. I like also to dance. Colombia is a country with many holidays and its Colombian music is very beautiful.

Diana Suta says:
I like listening Rock in espanish and Ballade, My singer favorite is Juanes y Miguel Bose.

ROUTINE

Daily routine:

A routine actions are continuing to develop in the day. Basically a routine becomes the way we play in the lively daily

Luz Miryam says:

Every day I get up at six o'clock, I bath, breakfast, I go to Mass I am go to work and arrived at 8:00 am. Perform my work until 12:00 a.m. Lunch and continuing with my job at 2:00 pm and finish at 6:00 pm and then I go to my house.

In the weekends a go at the Simon Bolivar`s park for running and developing some physical exercises. Organize some things in my house and if I have time I go to the movies with my friends or shoping.

Merly Jiménez says:
I get up at 5:30 in the morning, I prepare coffee and I take a bath at 5:45; at 6:30 I have breakfast with my husband and I leave to my work.I arrive to work at 8:00, turn on my computer and read the mails and talk with my boss. At 10:00 I go to eat a snack and I call with my husband my son, then I continue working.At 1:00 in the afternoon I have lunch and return to the office at 2:00. I speak by telephone and do my duties. At 5:30 I return to my home, when I arrive home at 7:00, I eat with my family, then we watch TV and we play with our baby. At 10:30 we go to sleep.

Diana Suta says:
I Usually get up at 5:00 in the morning, make the breakfast and I take to leaven my children to school, then I go to my work at 8:00. I have luch fast at 1:00 in the afternoon with my friendly, in the afternoon. When I arrive to home I hetp to my children to do their homework and we go to bed at 9:00 at night.

VALUES

The values that each admires in people

Luz Miryam says:

value is an esencial element for construction of the society. Moreover, the values add human dignity to our lives.
I`m generous, happy, I have common with the other people, I`m tolerant and gratefull and reponsability.
I admire when the people are sincere becouse this value is really very scarse today in the society.
Becouse the values show the way to follow in order to achieve a good coexistence.
Colombia is a country with generous, nice and happy people.
yes, many countries have similar values, because the values are universal an they are innate in every one.

Merly Jiménez says:
I admire in a person your values of training. When a person speaks, walks, laughs, cries expresses much of his personality and character. The respect, trust, honesty, responsibility, good humor, charity, good advice, are values that make a good person.

Diana Suta says:
The Values are qualities that do grow the person such as be honest, tell always the truth, be responsable.
